HOMEOPATHY IS A DYNAMIC AND HOLISTIC SYSTEM OF HEALING
What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a dynamic and holistic system of healing, suitable for everyone, young and old. Homeopathy focuses on you as an individual, concentrating on treating your specific physical and emotional symptoms, to give long lasting benefits.

Homeopathy is a system of medicine which is based on treating the individual with highly diluted substances given in mainly tablet form, which triggers the body’s natural system of healing. Based on their experience of their symptoms, a homeopath will match the most appropriate medicine to the patient.

It works on the principle of “like cures like” - that is, a substance that would cause symptoms in a healthy person is used to cure those same symptoms in illness. For example, one remedy which might be used in a person suffering from insomnia is coffea, a remedy made from coffee.

What does homeopathic treatment involve?

I am interested in you as an individual and the unique way in which your symptoms affect you.
As a Homeopath I will always look at your full medical history and seek to understand how the various influences and events in your life may have contributed to the development of your illness.
I may ask you to fill in a form prior to treatment.

After the consultation I will assess your case.
You will then be prescribed a homeopathic remedy that is carefully individualised to you and based on your current health priorities. I will give you your remedy or remedies at the consultation, or else your prescription will be sent to you in the post shortly afterwards, with instructions.

Despite the differences in approach, homeopathic and conventional treatments can work very well alongside each other. Homeopathy cannot replace all other forms of healthcare, but can be used as the treatment of first choice in a wide range of conditions.

Scientifically it can not yet be explained precisely how homeopathy works, but new theories in quantum physics are going some way towards shedding light on the process. What we do know is that a carefully selected homeopathic remedy acts as a trigger to the body’s healing processes.

Where can I find a qualified homeopath?
